Fat and old welcomed back Colin, Beebee snr and Dan Voss into the fold on what was a blowy Thursday night.
Both teams looked confident and knocked the ball around early, Colin was up to his usual tricks and was shouting out its tufty out here lads and in truth he wasn't wrong as Kev went tumbling after tripping over a daisy.
Bibs had a lot of possession and looked to try and get in behind Kev and Lamps out wide but lacked the final ball to create a clear cut chance.
Chances were few and far between and it was only after Bibs failed to clear a corner that Brench fired in a shot that deflected of Chaz and flew past the Bibs goalie at the near post.
It was 1-0 as the teams changed ends and Bibs started off quickly as White was causing trouble down the right flank but the ball wouldn't fall kindly as chances for Steve (bald), Beebee and Green came and went.
Finally after Mitchell picked the lose ball up and played in Chaz a slick passing move was finished by Green. Skins looked to respond with Curry and Butler looking to play in Brench to try and muscle his was in but Wilson was playing well and managed to stop him.
Soon after Butler struck a fierce shot that seemed to fly high and wide but after a review and asking Butler if he though it was in the goal was given, Bibs looked confused but the game got back under way. Greenwood was getting more of the ball and he let a rasping drive that flew past Steve (bald) and again the dubious goal panel got together and it was not given much to Bibs relief.
Bibs were throwing everything at the skins defence and a mixture of wayward passing, bad finishing and some desperate defending managed to keep the Bibs strikers at bay.
Pete who was having a quiet game by his standards managed to produce a fine individual effort to get in behind Wilson, Pete was bearing down on goal when Wilson got back and clipped the flying F&O winger who went down calling for a free kick, Skins walked away mumbling "not again, he's on the floor again" but this time it was a foul and Pete wasn't injured.
With time running out Brench picked the ball up and started running towards goal, Mitchell jockeyed like he has done for years getting ready to try and block the left footed pile-driver but Brench pulled out a move not seen since the Zap in 2001 and dropped a shoulder and went right leaving Mitchell looking lost and confused as Brench chuckled to him self as he went past, Fat and Old defenders will be in trouble if Brench starts going both ways!!
Final score was 2-1 to the Skins and In truth it was a very even game, Bibs will wonder how they only scored one goal and skins will wonder how Beebee kept a clean sheet after being bombarded in the final 10 mins. Good performance from Green and White for the Bibs and from Curry, Brench and Greenwood for skins.
MOTM - Chaz, a fine performance from the sandwich man in a losing effort.
