On a bitterly cold night, King Alfred much like a soup kitchen provided refuge for the F&O players who based on television footage appeared to have gorged heavily on Christmas treats in the build up.
With two debutants on show, there was always an element of lucky dip with the teams. In fairness the first twenty minutes were cagey and even and we had played a third of the game with no goals.
However the final 40 minutes saw Skins give Bibs a thorough festive hiding as a combination of gift wrapped errors and fine finishing saw Skins score 4 goal in a ten minute spell up to half time.
The debutant, walking football sensation Colin Addison-Milne was at the heart of everything Skins produced and despite his age (Bill reckons he might be 60 or very close) he had enough about him still to terrorise the Bibs back line.
All six Skins players scored as they ran riot. Bibs had some chances but a combination of poor finishing and good keeping from Hunt, Virgo & Highland kept them out for the most part.
OMB finished well to open the scoring for Bibs but it was already 6-0 by then.
The game finished 13-3 and Skins were deserved winners, although the game felt more even than that.
MOTM - Amir Bahrami - Tied with a 60 year old with votes but due to a hastily arranged rule change over MOTM the Muslim Pig's in Blanket's fan gets the nod and his second MOTM for a controlled and disciplined display.
