Apologies in advance chaps I'm having a complete memory blank and I can't remember half the match, which probably explains my poor performance tonight.
Due to a high number of absentees this week we were down to 7a side but welcomed back Jac and a debut to Jordan Caulfied (no relation to Corney). A tufty, blowy and gloomy evening for the fat and old faithful tonight.
Colours started off well and looked good on the ball but tried to walk the ball into the goal were left frustrated early on especially when the KOW was denied by an amazing save from Curry early doors.
Colours were left frustrated when Green crossed from the left hand side of the pitch and Kev was left clawing at thin air as the floated over him. Jordan was having a fine first twenty minutes but started to fade with the pressure of the headband and borrowed size 11 boots resulting in multiple falling over episodes.
Jac was running the game for the colours and was linking up well with Chaz and Greenwood and Jac scored a fine team goal when he finished well into the bottom corner.
And that is all about I can remember, Bibs went 2-1 and then 3-1 up I think the third was a Jordan OG. Jordan then scored from close range for colours but then two quick strikes but the game beyond reach for the colours.
The game finishes 5-2 to the Bibs and it could have been a lot more. Colours lost shape chasing the game and Bibs capitalised on some suspect defending.
A very good team game from Bibs tonight who put in a well organised performance and colours will rule the early missed chances.
MOTM - Tom Hunt, tough to pick tonight as good performance from Green and Curry but Hunt just gets it after his robust performance in the middle of the pitch and a fine goal keeping display.
