Sandwich 2 Colombia 0

All eyes were on BACA tonight after the weekends indoor match. With McGhee upset at losing out on the KoW there were scouts galore on show to take a look at the Colombian wonder kid who had played football for Tottenham Hotspurs and Athletico Madrid.

In fairness the lad himself didn't big himself up too much, but Erik Hall wannabe Adam Dallinger was waxing lyrical about the young Colombian.

With What's App literally exploding in anticipation the game got underway with Skins edging the early stages. The Colombian was neat and tidy on the ball, but no suggestion as yet he was going to massacre the ageing F&O defences in the way young Thai Beebee had for much of his 43 caps.

First real highlight was a fizzing Matt Green drive which almost snapped the cross bar. Moments later Dallinger cried for a foul after the merest of contacts from Tricker. This led to Curry going in on the keeper one on one and finishing well. Moments later he almost had a second when he improvised with a back flick and forced a fine save from Greenwood.

Bibs were yet to get going although there were signs. Brench forced a fine save from Eason who had to take on the gloves for the remainder of the match after suffering from an achilles injury.

Not soon after a great Bibs move saw Ridley finish emphatically after the Sandwich Man had played him in on goal. 1-1 and it stayed that way until half time.

Skins were becoming less and less of an attacking force and it was Bibs who were pressing now. Sandwich Man with an outside of the foot curler, found the top corner for 2-1. Wave after wave of pressure but Bibs couldn't find the third, until Chaz again finished one on one with Eason who got a hand to it but couldn't prevent the clinching goal.

Skins best moments came when Wilson hit a fierce drive but Dallinger blocked close to the line. Brenchley made a couple of routine saves, but in truth Bibs were by far the better team and were unlucky not to grab a 4th when Greenwood hit the post.

It ended 3-1 and well deserved bibs victory.

MOTM - Chaz - A virtuoso performance from the midfield man. More known for his tackling and grafting he added a couple of well taken goals and an assist to overwhelmingly win the MOTM vote.
