Bibs were toast tonight as Skins romped home on the Sandwich Man's return after 6 months out.
Skins roared out of the blocks and took a 3 goal advantage after only 8 minutes as Bibs didn't use their loafs after conceding two carbon copy goals.
The first goal was when Richy Lamprell made strides from deep and without challenge finished well past Curry in goal.
Bibs continued to dip their bread and when Eason released Hat in acres of space he finished smartly, followed by the signature goal celebration.
Skins were in wonderland when golden oldie Ridley much like Lamprell waltzed unopposed before beating a shell shocked Curry in goal who was picking the ball out of the net for a third time.
Bibs were in disarray and were desperately trying to get back in the game and breakdown effective skins passing.
At yeast they had a crumb of comfort when Mitchell's corner was inexplicably kicked into his own net by goal keeper Ridley for 3-1.
Mitchell claimed the goal but there wasn't a grain of truth in his appeal as Ridley was defloured.
Bibs really kneaded a second to get themselves fully back into the contest, but Skins were fairly comfortable and saw out to half time with little threat to their goal.
There had been a recent pattern of the team who scores first going on to either lose or draw as comebacks had been common at BACA in recent months. Skins pretty much extinguished any hopes of that with two quick fire goals in the second half. White crossed well for Tricker with a text book Shaun Goater header made it 4-1. Not long after with Bibs fully committed fell for the sucker punch when Eason released White who finished past Bahrami.
At this stage it was a case of how many but Skins couldn't convert several unbelievable chances. The worst culprit was White who somehow missed an open goal from 3 yards after Tricker squared, but he wasn't the only one as Skins spurned chance after chance after chance.
At the other end Brench via a slight Ridley deflection made it 5-2 as the shot raced past Virgo in goal.
Moments later Virgo made a fine save to deny Steve (bald) as Bibs for the first time really pinned back their opponents.
Bahrami like an Iranian Ruel Fox had a lung busting run down the left as he beat two men down the bye line but no one could convert his cross. With time up Beebee powered home a fine but ultimately pointless goal as the game ended 5-3. And Pete collected the dough at the end.
MOTM - Rich Lamprell - Wrapped up MOTM with 5 votes edging out Virgo on the Glitter/Saville method (the lower the number the better)
