It always amuses me pre-match when you talk to the F&O stars and ask who's going to win. And guaranteed every player you turn to says we're going to get smashed! Greenwood predicted 6-2 and Curry 4-0 all heavy defeats.

It was definitely a clash of styles though with the goal threat coming predominantly from Skins, whilst you had the possession game of bibs. Last week was similar and with the teams being mostly the same it was set up for another tight game.

Nothing much between the teams in the early stages and at least the quality for me watching was far superior to last weeks dog shit first half. Tricker who's distribution in goal last week cost a goal, this week created one. He threw the ball John Elway style to Brenchley who turned Mitchell and forced the ball past Green in goal. Mitchell claimed during an interview the next day he was blinded by the lights.

It was a lead that probably Skins deserved on balance and they looked most likely with Brenchley in good form throughout the half.

Bibs had their moments and Luis was seeing plenty of the ball running through midfield. Greenwood too was pivotal to any attacks and a speculative shot went in through Baker who was possibly surprised to be tested from that range.

The game was shaping up nicely and Green and Brenchley had a collision which left both hobbling.

1-1 at half time and Bibs were still not confident. Curry said during the interval "watch them take over. They've got the fitness, they will win".

Watching from the sidelines the half time whistle helped Skins as they were starting to feel the pressure with Greenwood, Chaz & Hunt keeping the ball well.

The 2nd half started and some excellent keeping amongst a fair few players kept the scoreline close. Virgo being the stand out as he saved well on a number of occasions, denying King Luis a fair few times. Curry made a great save too and Macleod also covered himself in glory as the keepers shone.

Eventually the third goal went in and it looked to be decisive when Greenwood tricked his way past Brenchley and Bahrami near the goal line, finished for 2-1.

The lead was short lived as Brenchley side footed into the bottom corner past Mitchell for 2-2.

An incredible double miss from Ridley and Virgo kept things level. Greenwood got a touch as Ridley and eventually Virgo made a mess of an open goal.

Towards the end Bibs had a late long throw and a goal bound header for Greenwood was blocked on the line and this eventually lead to a Skins break away but once that chance defended the game ended for 2-2.

A fine game, which had everything, except bar the great winning goal like last week.It was also the first draw in 8 F&O games.

MOTM - Chaz - It was tight on the votes this week, with 3 players gaining 4 votes and one with 3. Chaz wins ahead of Brenchley & Virgo on the basis of fewer MOTM awards. From my vantage point it was deserved, but you could make a case for a fair few. The Sandwich Man was a composed and steadying influence throughout and was the pick of a very competitive midfield battle.
